The basics

Does Finmoy hold my money?

No. Finmoy only records what you enter. It never holds, moves or pays money, and it doesn't connect to your bank. The amounts in the app are numbers you type to keep track. Your money stays where it is.

Does it connect to my bank or cards?

No. You log expenses yourself, by typing them or by scanning a receipt.

Where is my data, and who can see it?

Your data is on your iPhone or Mac. If iCloud sync is on, it's also in your private iCloud, so it appears on your other devices with the same Apple Account. Meya Lab can't see it. There's no account, no tracking and no analytics. The Privacy Policy has the details.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the app and start logging.

Is Finmoy free?

Yes. Finmoy is free to download and use. Logging, budgets, widgets, iCloud sync and your last 3 months of Insights are free. Finmoy Pro is optional and adds more (see "Pro and purchases" below).

Logging

How do I log an expense?

Tap + at the bottom of the screen, then choose:

Scanning didn't read my receipt.

Lay the receipt flat in good light, fit all of it in the frame, and hold steady. You can fix any field before you save, or type the expense instead. The receipt's text is read on your iPhone or Mac. You can also pick a photo of the receipt from the Photos app, from the scan screen. On a Mac, Scan reads a photo or a PDF you choose or drag onto the window: try a clearer one, or type the expense instead.

What can I say?

Hold the microphone and say the amount and what it was for, for example "Coffee 4.50, cash" or "lunch twelve dollars yesterday". Let go when you're done, or slide your finger away to cancel; you can also tap it once to start and again to stop. The Add screen fills in so you can check it before saving. What you say is turned into text on your iPhone or Mac and never leaves it. Say it shows only where your iPhone or Mac recognizes the app's language on the device. Say it is free for 10 records a month: Say it shows how many are left, and after the 10th it tells you when more come (the 1st of next month). Finmoy Pro removes the limit; typing and scanning stay free.

How do I log without opening the app?

The app shows these steps in Settings › Shortcuts & widgets.

How does Auto-log Apple Pay work?

It's optional and part of Finmoy Pro, and you set it up once in the Shortcuts app:

  1. Open Shortcuts → Automation. Tap New Automation, then Transaction.
  2. Pick your Apple Pay cards. Choose "Run Immediately".
  3. Add "Log Apple Pay purchase". Set Amount and Merchant from the purchase.

Your Apple Pay purchases are then recorded with their amount and store, marked "Needs review" so you can fix the category in one tap. Finmoy never sees your card number or your bank, and it doesn't pay or move money. Refunds aren't logged, a purchase that's already logged isn't added twice, and a purchase in a currency the app has no rate for is skipped. Without Pro, the automation records nothing; you can log the purchase yourself. The app shows these steps in Settings › Auto-log Apple Pay.

Why don't I see Wallets, Spending limits, Recurring bills or the nightly check-in?

Finmoy is simple by default, so these start off. Turn on the ones you want in Settings › Features. Turning a feature off only hides it; nothing is deleted.

What are wallets?

They keep track of where your money is: cash, a bank account, a card. When you turn them on, your past records go into Cash. A wallet's balance is its starting balance plus what you've recorded in it; Finmoy never connects to your bank, so it's only as right as what you enter. Record transfer notes money you moved between two wallets somewhere else. If a balance doesn't match your bank, open the wallet and use Adjust balance: it records the difference, and nothing counts as spending or income. The free plan has up to 5 wallets, Cash included; with Pro, there's no limit.

How do spending limits work?

In Budget, tap Add a limit and set a daily or weekly limit for a category. When an expense you log would go past it, Finmoy shows how far over it goes, and you choose Skip it or Save anyway. After Save anyway, that limit doesn't ask again for the rest of that day. Turn off "Ask before I go over" on a limit to keep it as a guide without the check. Home shows a banner once a limit is 80% used, and with notifications on you get a limit alert for expenses logged from Siri, Shortcuts or Apple Pay. The free plan has 3 spending limits; with Pro, there's no limit.

How do recurring bills work?

Turn on Recurring bills in Settings › Features, then add a bill in Settings › Recurring bills: its name, amount, category, next due date and how often it repeats (weekly, monthly or yearly). With "Remind me a day before" on and notifications allowed, Finmoy reminds you at 9 AM the day before it's due, and you log it yourself. With Pro, turn on "Auto-log on due date" and the bill is logged as an expense on its due date, with Undo. If Finmoy isn't opened that day, the bill is logged the next time you open it.

Is there a widget?

Yes. Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget (on iOS 17, tap + in the corner), and choose Finmoy. Safe to spend shows what's safe to spend today; Today adds today's spending and a Log button. Tap a widget to open the app. On the Lock Screen, you can add Today or the round + Log expense widget.

Why are amounts hidden on my Lock Screen?

To keep them private. While your iPhone is locked, the Lock Screen widgets hide amounts. Turn on "Show amounts on Lock Screen" in Settings › Shortcuts & widgets to see them.

What does "safe to spend today" mean?

It's what's left of your monthly budget, divided by the days left in the month (including today), rounded down to a whole amount. In a currency without cents, like rupiah or yen, an amount of 1,000 or more is rounded down to the hundred. For example, $759.50 left with 12 days to go is $63 a day.

How do currencies work?

Each wallet and each expense can have its own currency. Totals are converted to your main currency using reference exchange rates built into the app, which are updated with app updates. Conversion works offline, but the result is an estimate. Your bank or card statement shows the exact amount you were charged.

What's free, and what does Pro add?

How much is Pro?

The app shows your price, in your currency, before you buy. At launch:

Prices differ by country and can change. Monthly and Yearly renew automatically; Lifetime is a one-time purchase.

Can I still buy Lifetime?

Lifetime is an early-bird offer, sold at launch only, through January 3, 2027. Until then, its card on the Pro screen says "Launch only · through Jan 3". After that, the Pro screen offers Monthly and Yearly only. If you bought Lifetime, you keep Pro with no renewals for as long as Finmoy is offered and supports your device: "Lifetime" means the life of the app, not yours (Terms of Use, section 5). Pro comes back with Restore on any iPhone or Mac with the same Apple Account.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, on Yearly: 7 days free, once per Apple Account. If the App Store offers it to you, the Pro screen says "First 7 days free" on Yearly and shows what Yearly costs after. Two days before the trial ends, Finmoy reminds you once (if you allow its notifications), with the day and time to cancel by. To avoid the charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends; Pro stays on until then. If you cancel in your iPhone's Settings (or on a Mac, in the App Store) and don't open Finmoy afterwards, the reminder may still come: you can ignore it. Monthly and Lifetime have no trial, and the free plan has no time limit.

How do I cancel my subscription?

In your iPhone's Settings, tap your name › Subscriptions › Finmoy › Cancel Subscription. On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, click your name again on the page that opens, then Subscriptions › Finmoy › Cancel Subscription (Apple's steps). In Finmoy, you can also tap Manage on the Finmoy Pro card in Settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription, and we can't cancel it for you.

How do I switch between Monthly and Yearly?

In the same place: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Finmoy (on a Mac, the App Store's Subscriptions, as above), then choose the other plan. The new plan starts at your next renewal date, and your current plan stays on until then. The Finmoy Pro card in the app's Settings shows the change and its date.

How do I get a refund?

Apple handles all App Store payments, so refunds come from Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I have a new iPhone. How do I get Pro back?

Sign in with the same Apple Account. Pro usually comes back by itself; if it doesn't, tap Restore purchases in Settings, or Restore on the Pro screen. The same goes for Finmoy on a Mac.

I bought Lifetime, but my subscription still renews.

A Lifetime purchase doesn't cancel a subscription automatically, and we can't cancel it for you. Cancel it in your Apple Account settings (see above). The app shows a reminder with a button that takes you there.

Can my family share Pro?

No. Pro isn't shared through Family Sharing; it's for the Apple Account that bought it.

What happens when Pro ends?

Nothing you've recorded is deleted.

Home tells you once that Pro has ended. You can get Pro again at any time from Settings.

How do I make a PDF report?

With Pro, or for your first report, start from any of these three places: the PDF button at the top of Insights (for the month on screen, or this year in the Year view), Settings › Privacy & data › PDF report, or Activity: tap the month at the top, then PDF report (for that month). Choose Month or Year and the period, tap page 1 to see the whole PDF, then tap Share PDF to save, print or send it (on a Mac, Save… next to it saves the PDF where you choose). Turn off "Show places and notes" to leave store names and notes out; Finmoy remembers your choice. The PDF is made on your iPhone or Mac, and Finmoy deletes its copy when the share sheet or the Save dialog closes. Your first report is free: one report, of the month or year you first look at or share. Looking at it doesn't use it up, sharing it does; other months and years need Pro. After that, without Pro, these show what Pro adds.

Your data

How do I move my data to a new iPhone?

Keep iCloud sync on (Settings › Privacy & data › iCloud sync) and sign in to the new iPhone with the same Apple Account. When you open Finmoy there, it finds your records and offers to restore them. If it doesn't find them in time, finish setup: your records and your earlier settings arrive by themselves shortly after. Restoring an iPhone backup also brings them over. To keep a copy you can open in a spreadsheet, use Export CSV.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings › Delete all data. It erases your records, receipt photos and settings from this iPhone or Mac right away (if iCloud sync was already off when you opened the app, it stays off), and the app's copy in your iCloud, whether or not sync is on. The iCloud part needs an internet connection and can take longer: if iCloud can't be reached, Finmoy tries again the next time you open it, signed in with the same Apple Account. If you delete the app before it's done, the copy in your iCloud can stay. Your other devices with the same Apple Account are erased too the next time they sync. Device backups made before you deleted, such as iCloud Backup, keep their copy until they're replaced or deleted. Your Pro purchase isn't affected: it belongs to your Apple Account.

How do I lock the app with Face ID?

Turn on Settings › Privacy & data › Require Face ID. On iPhones with Touch ID, the switch is called Require Touch ID. On a Mac, it's Require Touch ID, or Require password on a Mac without Touch ID.

How do I change the language?

Go to Settings › Language. It opens the app's page in your iPhone's Settings, where you can pick English or Indonesian. If there's no Language there, first add the other language in your iPhone's Settings › General › Language & Region. On a Mac, choose Finmoy's language in System Settings › General › Language & Region › Applications.

Bagaimana cara mencatat pengeluaran?

Ketuk tombol + di bagian bawah layar, lalu pilih:

Struk tidak terbaca.

Letakkan struk di permukaan datar dengan cahaya cukup, pastikan seluruh struk masuk bingkai, lalu tahan iPhone dengan stabil. Kamu bisa memperbaiki isian apa pun sebelum menyimpan, atau ketik saja pengeluarannya. Teks struk dibaca langsung di iPhone atau Mac-mu. Kamu juga bisa memilih foto struk dari app Foto, lewat layar pindai. Di Mac, Pindai membaca foto atau PDF yang kamu pilih atau seret ke jendela aplikasi: coba yang lebih jelas, atau ketik saja pengeluarannya.

Apa yang bisa kuucapkan?

Tahan tombol mikrofon lalu sebutkan jumlahnya dan untuk apa, misalnya "kopi 25 ribu, tunai" atau "makan siang 35 ribu kemarin". Lepaskan setelah selesai, atau geser jarimu menjauh untuk membatalkan; kamu juga bisa mengetuknya sekali untuk mulai dan sekali lagi untuk berhenti. Layar Tambah akan terisi supaya bisa kamu periksa sebelum disimpan. Ucapanmu diubah menjadi teks di iPhone atau Mac-mu dan tidak pernah keluar dari sana. Bagaimana cara kerja Catat otomatis Apple Pay?

Fitur ini opsional dan termasuk Finmoy Pro, dan cukup kamu atur sekali di app Pintasan:

  1. Buka Pintasan → Otomatisasi. Ketuk Otomatisasi Baru, lalu Transaksi.
  2. Pilih kartu Apple Pay-mu. Pilih "Jalankan Segera".
  3. Tambahkan "Catat pembelian Apple Pay". Isi Jumlah dan Toko dari pembeliannya.

Setelah itu, pembelianmu dengan Apple Pay tercatat lengkap dengan jumlah dan nama tokonya, dengan tanda "Perlu dicek" supaya kategorinya bisa kamu perbaiki sekali ketuk. Finmoy tidak pernah melihat nomor kartu atau rekening bankmu, dan tidak membayar atau memindahkan uang. Pengembalian dana tidak dicatat, pembelian yang sudah tercatat tidak ditambahkan dua kali, dan pembelian dalam mata uang yang kursnya tidak ada di aplikasi dilewati. Kenapa Dompet, Batas pengeluaran, Tagihan rutin, atau Check-in malam tidak muncul?

Finmoy dibuat simpel sejak awal, jadi fitur-fitur ini nonaktif dulu. Aktifkan yang kamu butuhkan di Pengaturan › Fitur. Fitur yang dinonaktifkan hanya disembunyikan; tidak ada yang dihapus.

Apa itu dompet?

Dompet membantumu mencatat di mana uangmu berada: tunai, rekening bank, atau kartu. Saat kamu mengaktifkannya, catatan lamamu masuk ke Tunai. Saldo dompet adalah saldo tercatat awalnya ditambah yang kamu catat di dalamnya; Finmoy tidak pernah terhubung ke bankmu, jadi saldonya hanya setepat yang kamu masukkan. Catat transfer mencatat uang yang kamu pindahkan antardompet di tempat lain. Di Anggaran, ketuk Tambah batas, lalu atur batas harian atau mingguan untuk satu kategori. Saat pengeluaran yang kamu catat akan melewatinya, Finmoy menunjukkan seberapa jauh lewatnya, lalu kamu memilih Lewati atau Tetap simpan. Setelah Tetap simpan, batas itu tidak bertanya lagi sampai hari itu berakhir. Matikan "Tanya dulu sebelum melewati batas" di sebuah batas jika kamu hanya ingin memakainya sebagai panduan. Beranda menampilkan banner saat batas sudah terpakai 80%, dan jika notifikasi aktif, kamu mendapat peringatan batas untuk pengeluaran yang dicatat lewat Siri, Pintasan, atau Apple Pay. Paket gratis punya 3 batas pengeluaran; dengan Pro, tidak ada batasnya.

Bagaimana cara kerja tagihan rutin?

Aktifkan Tagihan rutin di Pengaturan › Fitur, lalu tambahkan tagihan di Pengaturan › Tagihan rutin: nama, jumlah, kategori, jatuh tempo berikutnya, dan seberapa sering berulang (mingguan, bulanan, atau tahunan). Jika "Ingatkan sehari sebelumnya" aktif dan notifikasi diizinkan, Finmoy mengingatkanmu pukul 09.00 sehari sebelum jatuh tempo, lalu kamu mencatatnya sendiri. Dengan Pro, aktifkan "Catat otomatis saat jatuh tempo", dan tagihan tercatat sebagai pengeluaran di tanggal jatuh temponya, dengan Urungkan. Jika Finmoy tidak dibuka hari itu, tagihan tercatat saat kamu membukanya lagi.

Apakah ada widget?

Ada. Sentuh lama Layar Utama, ketuk Edit, lalu Tambah Widget (di iOS 17, ketuk + di pojok), dan pilih Finmoy. Kenapa jumlah disembunyikan di Layar Terkunci?

Supaya tetap privat. Selama iPhone-mu terkunci, widget Layar Terkunci menyembunyikan jumlah. Aktifkan "Tampilkan jumlah di Layar Terkunci" di Pengaturan › Pintasan & widget untuk melihatnya.

Apa arti "jatah hari ini"?

Sisa anggaran bulananmu dibagi jumlah hari yang tersisa di bulan ini (termasuk hari ini), lalu dibulatkan ke bawah ke angka bulat. Untuk mata uang tanpa sen, seperti rupiah atau yen, jumlah 1.000 ke atas dibulatkan ke bawah ke ratusan. Contoh: sisa Rp2.250.000 dengan 12 hari lagi berarti Rp187.500 per hari.

Bagaimana dengan mata uang?

Setiap dompet dan setiap pengeluaran bisa memakai mata uangnya sendiri. Total dikonversi ke mata uang utamamu dengan kurs acuan yang tertanam di aplikasi, dan kurs itu diperbarui lewat pembaruan aplikasi. Konversi tetap jalan tanpa internet, tapi hasilnya perkiraan. Jumlah persis yang ditagihkan ada di mutasi rekening atau tagihan kartumu.

Apa yang gratis, dan apa tambahan Pro?

Berapa harga Pro?

Aplikasi menampilkan hargamu, dalam mata uangmu, sebelum kamu membeli. Saat peluncuran:

Harga bisa berbeda di tiap negara dan bisa berubah. Bulanan dan Tahunan diperpanjang otomatis; Seumur hidup cukup sekali bayar.

Apakah Seumur hidup masih bisa dibeli?

Seumur hidup hanya dijual saat peluncuran, sampai 3 Januari 2027. Sampai saat itu, kartunya di layar Pro bertuliskan "Tersedia sampai 3 Jan". Setelah itu, layar Pro hanya menawarkan Bulanan dan Tahunan. Jika kamu sudah membeli Seumur hidup, Pro tetap aktif tanpa perpanjangan selama Finmoy masih tersedia dan mendukung perangkatmu: "Seumur hidup" berarti selama umur aplikasi, bukan umurmu (Ketentuan Penggunaan, bagian 5). Pro kembali lewat Pulihkan pembelian di iPhone atau Mac mana pun dengan Akun Apple yang sama.

Apakah ada uji coba gratis?

Ada, di paket Tahunan: gratis 7 hari, sekali per Akun Apple. Jika App Store menawarkannya kepadamu, layar Pro menampilkan "7 hari pertama gratis" di paket Tahunan beserta harga Tahunan sesudahnya. Dua hari sebelum masa coba berakhir, Finmoy mengingatkanmu sekali (jika kamu mengizinkan notifikasinya), dengan hari dan jam batas pembatalannya. Agar tidak ditagih, batalkan paling lambat 24 jam sebelum masa coba berakhir; Pro tetap aktif sampai saat itu. Jika kamu membatalkannya di Pengaturan iPhone (atau di Mac, di App Store) lalu tidak membuka Finmoy lagi, pengingatnya mungkin tetap muncul: abaikan saja. Bulanan dan Seumur hidup tidak punya masa coba, dan paket gratis tidak punya batas waktu.

Bagaimana cara membatalkan langganan?

Di Pengaturan iPhone, ketuk namamu › Langganan › Finmoy › Batalkan Langganan. Di Mac, buka App Store, klik namamu di bagian bawah bar samping, klik namamu lagi di halaman yang muncul, lalu Langganan › Finmoy › Batalkan Langganan (langkah dari Apple). Di Finmoy, kamu juga bisa mengetuk Kelola di kartu Finmoy Pro di Pengaturan. Batalkan paling lambat 24 jam sebelum tanggal perpanjangan supaya tidak ditagih lagi. Pro tetap aktif sampai akhir periode yang sudah kamu bayar. Menghapus aplikasi tidak membatalkan langganan, dan kami tidak bisa membatalkannya untukmu.

Bagaimana cara pindah dari Bulanan ke Tahunan, atau sebaliknya?

Di tempat yang sama: Pengaturan › namamu › Langganan › Finmoy (di Mac, Langganan di App Store, seperti di atas), lalu pilih paket lainnya. Paket baru mulai di tanggal perpanjangan berikutnya, dan paketmu yang sekarang tetap aktif sampai saat itu. Kartu Finmoy Pro di Pengaturan aplikasi menampilkan perubahan itu dan tanggalnya.

Bagaimana cara meminta pengembalian dana?

Semua pembayaran App Store ditangani Apple, jadi pengembalian dana juga lewat Apple. Ajukan di reportaproblem.apple.com.

Aku pakai iPhone baru. Bagaimana cara mendapatkan Pro lagi?

Masuk dengan Akun Apple yang sama. Biasanya Pro kembali sendiri; kalau tidak, ketuk Pulihkan pembelian di Pengaturan, atau Pulihkan pembelian di layar Pro. Begitu juga untuk Finmoy di Mac.

Aku sudah membeli Seumur hidup, tapi langgananku masih diperpanjang.

Pembelian Seumur hidup tidak otomatis membatalkan langganan, dan kami tidak bisa membatalkannya untukmu. Batalkan di pengaturan Akun Apple (lihat di atas). Aplikasi juga menampilkan pengingat dengan tombol yang langsung membawamu ke sana.

Apakah Pro bisa dibagikan ke keluarga?

Tidak. Pro tidak dibagikan lewat Berbagi Keluarga; Pro hanya untuk Akun Apple yang membelinya.

Apa yang terjadi saat Pro berakhir?

Tidak ada catatanmu yang dihapus.

Pilih Bulan atau Tahun dan periodenya, ketuk halaman 1 untuk melihat seluruh PDF, lalu ketuk Bagikan PDF untuk menyimpan, mencetak, atau mengirimnya (di Mac, Simpan… di sebelahnya menyimpan PDF ke tempat yang kamu pilih). Nonaktifkan "Tampilkan tempat dan catatan" supaya nama toko dan catatan tidak ikut; Finmoy mengingat pilihanmu. PDF dibuat di iPhone atau Mac-mu, dan Finmoy menghapus salinannya saat lembar berbagi atau jendela Simpan ditutup. Laporan pertamamu gratis: satu laporan, untuk bulan atau tahun yang pertama kali kamu lihat atau bagikan. Melihatnya tidak menghabiskannya, membagikannya menghabiskannya; bulan dan tahun lain butuh Pro. Setelah itu, tanpa Pro, ketiganya menampilkan apa saja yang ditambahkan Pro.

Bagaimana cara memindahkan data ke iPhone baru?

Biarkan Sinkronisasi iCloud aktif (Pengaturan › Privasi & data › Sinkronisasi iCloud), lalu masuk di iPhone baru dengan Akun Apple yang sama. Saat kamu membuka Finmoy di sana, aplikasi menemukan catatanmu dan menawarkan untuk memulihkannya. Jika belum ketemu, selesaikan saja pengaturan awal: catatan dan pengaturanmu yang lama akan muncul sendiri tak lama kemudian. Memulihkan cadangan iPhone juga membawa datamu. Untuk menyimpan salinan yang bisa dibuka di spreadsheet, pakai Ekspor CSV.

Bagaimana cara menghapus dataku?

Buka Pengaturan › Hapus semua data. Catatan, foto struk, dan pengaturanmu langsung terhapus dari iPhone atau Mac ini (jika Sinkronisasi iCloud sudah nonaktif saat aplikasi dibuka, tetap nonaktif), beserta salinan aplikasi di iCloud-mu, baik Sinkronisasi iCloud aktif maupun tidak. Bagian iCloud butuh koneksi internet dan bisa makan waktu lebih lama: jika iCloud tidak bisa dijangkau, Finmoy mencobanya lagi saat berikutnya kamu membukanya dengan Akun Apple yang sama. Jika kamu menghapus aplikasi sebelum selesai, salinan di iCloud-mu bisa tetap ada. Perangkatmu yang lain dengan Akun Apple yang sama ikut terhapus saat berikutnya tersinkron. Cadangan perangkat yang dibuat sebelum kamu menghapus, misalnya Cadangan iCloud, tetap menyimpan salinannya sampai cadangan itu diganti atau dihapus. Pembelian Pro-mu tidak terpengaruh, karena terikat ke Akun Apple-mu.
